Easy Appetizers - Pigs in a Blanket

Making appetizers to share with family or friends is super easy and not a big hit on the wallet. It was my turn to make appetizers for a party of friends so I decided to do what I could and make as many as possible in one afternoon.
Because I had lots of bacon, it was the main ingredient in most to buy appetizers.
Before that, I made pigs in a blanket. these are super simple to make, and all you need is some store-bought crescent roll dough.

Pigs in a Blanket

First, at the store, buy some crescent roll pre-made dough when you want to roll it, it comes out as isosceles triangles. I took each one of those triangles and cut it again lengthwise to make more narrow triangles, and double the recipe. Some recipes recommend cutting them into three triangles.
Once you've got your dough rolled out and separated and cut I put some bacon-infused cheese (one can never have enough bacon) under the mini sausages (I used Hillshire Farms Lil' Smokies)

Preheat oven to 400°F. Separate each package of crescent roll dough into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle into 2 or 3 smaller triangles.
Place 1 sausage on the wide end of the triangle and roll towards the point. Place wrapped sausage point side down on a baking sheet. Repeat with remaining sausages. Bake 9-10 minutes until golden brown.

I put toothpicks in them so anyone could just grab a few.  It also helps keep them together.
